The Long and Short of It – The Dance
The Long and Short of It are an Australian duo from Melbourne. They are an ARIA charting, multi-award-winning duo, whose superb harmonies have been described as “Honey coated chocolate”.
They are true masters of their craft. They travel the country to share their creative talent.
They have written and recorded songs in Nashville with their producer, Kenny Royster. (Producer of Luke Combs #1 Country Song 2018 USA) and are currently recording their new album in their own studio in Melbourne.
As a lead up to their next self-penned album, The EP “Somewhere in Between” derived from songs and songwriters that they admire. Track #6 “The Dance” written by Tony Arata made famous by Garth Brooks and is just one of those songs.
Their decision to release this single sadly coincides with a request from Susie Popp (a great supporter of indie Artists) who recently passed away, and in memory of Jimbo Manning an indie radio announcer from SA who was a great supporter of their music. May their memories be lovingly enshrined in this song.
