Davey Bishop – The Bugler

I am a songwriter and singer sharing stories in song form.
The Song , titled “The Bugler”, is the story of an ANZAC day dawn service.  

The focal point of the event is the playing of The Last Post.

The bugle call evokes vivid memories for survivors of combat and he loved ones of fallen soldiers. The Bugler has familial inks to three major conflicts and it is a sad truth that those links may continue to multiply.

An increasing number of people from younger generations who, whilst having no link to past conflicts, also attend these services and respectfully ensure the continuation of the tradition.
