Shaza Leigh – Walking By My Side

Shaza Leigh was recognised with a Native Australian Award, for writing powerful works about the nation and its people, when she received her OWB; The Order of The Wattle Blossom – Citation: “For excellence in the writing and performance of music reflecting Australia’s unique cultural heritage, and love for our Native Land”.

Shaza is an inspirational artist and one of Australia’s most prolific and prophetic songwriters.

“Walking By My Side” has a strong inspirational and gospel message, understanding that life may not always be perfect but it most certainly can be a lot easier if we take strength from our faith and follow Gods guidance.

Shaza has never made any secret of her spiritual beliefs and throughout her career has produced a continuous flow of divine works amongst her wider body of material.

“Walking By My Side”, featuring bluegrass instrumentation, is a bright, uplifting tune which has already proven popular with her ‘live’ audiences and now this special message makes its way onto the national and international airwaves. 

The song was originally released on her “Strength Within” album which has just been remastered and soon to be released and available internationally on electronic platforms.

Shaza, affectionately known as “Australia’s First Lady Of Song” chooses to record her tracks at the LBS Music Studios in Tamworth, Australia’s Country Capital, co-producing her songs with legendary guitarist, Lindsay Butler OAM. She has always released high quality productions and powerful songs of substance throughout her career. This has been the main catalyst attributing to her success as one of Australia’s most enduring recording artists.
