Cameron Cusack – Postcards

“Postcards” was written in 2017, inspired by words from my great friend, the late Kate Cook when my first daughter Marli was born. Kate said whilst on tour “It would be nice to buy a postcard in each town we tour to, to send to your daughter so she knows where her Dad’s been when he’s not there”. And so, still to this day, I purchase a postcard in each town and city I perform in. Plus I wrote this song in the hope that she may hear her Dad on the radio someday.

It has been quite a journey for singer/song writer Cameron Cusack.
From his early beginnings winning the Brad Bergen Encouragement Award at The Golden Saddles and being mentored and opening for multi-Golden Guitar and ARIA Award winner Troy Cassar-Daley during his “Home Tour” in 2013, to other shows including the Tamworth Country Music Festival from 2010 – 2013 and constantly touring this great land pursuing his love of entertaining.

Based in Northern Queensland, Cameron is constantly playing festivals and is a popular selection for events such as NRL pre-game shows.
Two-time Toyota Star Maker Finalist Cameron Cusack will release his second EP “Bullet Hole Through A Street Sign” later this year featuring heartfelt songs such as his moving dedication to his daughter ‘Postcards’ and anthems such as ‘Who We Are’.

Cameron Cusack’s sound carries an air of sophistication that’s guitar-driven and totally modern country.
