Shaza Leigh OWB is one of Australia’s most accomplished and respected figures in country music, celebrated as a singer, songwriter, musician, presenter, producer, compere, photographer, and manager. With a career spanning decades, she embodies dedication not only to her craft but also to the industry itself, serving as patron to numerous organisations and encouraging others to give back to the community that sustains them.

In 2020, Shaza received one of the highest honours in Australian music, The Order of the Wattle Blossom, recognising her excellence in writing and performing music that reflects Australia’s cultural heritage and deep love for the land.

Her contributions extend beyond performance. As one of the original four artists to launch the LBS Music label, she helped establish what has since grown into the largest family-owned record company in the world, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024. Fittingly, her 17th career album also marked the label’s milestone 200th release.

Produced alongside her husband, Golden Guitar winner Lindsay Butler OAM, the album Rodeos to Rainbows features some of Tamworth’s and Australia’s finest musicians. The title track, penned by Shaza, captures the essence of her life and career – a journey of highs and lows, triumphs and challenges, all embraced with gratitude and grace.
