Aroha Williams – Bread & Water

2025 MLT NZ Senior Gold Guitar Winner Aroha Williams announces the release of her new song “Bread & Water”. The song was originally written by Jeff Rea & Gary Morris in the early 2010’s.

“I remember hearing this song when Paul Sharplin recorded it and I just fell in love with the structure of the song, and of course, the lyrics!! I am a soppy love song person and this is definitely a song that has been beautifully crafted. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to perform this song in front of the legendary Jeff Rea at the Gold Guitar Awards 50th Anniversary where I won the Classics Overall with his song”.  Aroha.

Born and raised in Christchurch, Aroha comes from a musical family. Over Aroha’s 30 musical years, she has been performing, competing and playing in backing bands for country music, Jazz and Blues. Aroha has been fortunate to have won Overall titles around New Zealand that have taken her to the international stage.
