Runaway Dixie – Southern Rose

South Australian based trio Runaway Dixie have enjoyed a long road of successful albums and live performances in Australia and internationally throughout their career.
Formed in 2009, Runaway Dixie have carved their own path in Australian music and their songs have achieved much chart success and song writing accolade along the way.
Runaway Dixie have been nominated 4 times in the Golden Guitar Awards of Australia.
‘Southern Rose’ is a heartfelt ballad written by band member Virginia Hermel and presented in traditional bluegrass style by Runaway Dixie.
Band members, Jim and Virginia Hermel share the lead vocals on ‘Southern Rose’. The single was digitally released on the 24th of September 2020 and is from a forthcoming 6th album for Runaway Dixie.
