Brendan McMahon – On This Fine Occasion
A track from my 4th solo album “In The Moment” which I released in November last year. It must be my Irish ancestry that brings out the Celtic sounding tracks.
Although this track has a light and carefree feel, the message is a serious one… let’s stop fighting and start accepting all races, religions and beliefs as one global family… “the zoo is a mess so let’s clean it up, let’s see how good it can be”.
I wrote this song in a hotel room somewhere in Bali… for some reason it dawned on me that “our lands are all joined, you ask how can this be, our borders are one but under the sea”… a line from the song.
