Clayton Saunders – House With The Broken Heart

I crafted this song from a poem I read that was written back in the early twenties.

The story really touched me and I took the essence of that poem and turned it into House With The Broken Heart .

The story tells of a son reminiscing about the house he grew up in. It’s now a burnt out shell. He visits the site and recalls the tragedy of losing his parents in a fire.

He also reflects on the many wonderful memories he experienced and enjoyed with his family and the love and life lessons given throughout his growing years.
