Amanda Heartsong – The War Song The War Song (I can’t come home from the war)

The War Song is the debut Radio release for country vocalist, Amanda Heartsong, from her E.P. “By the Hearthfire”.

Amanda started music after her 15 year military career was ended upon returning home from Afghanistan.

Moving to the Baffle Creek area in Central Queensland in 2016, Amanda emerged from a few years of agoraphobia and anxiety to become the front woman of a local rock band.

The drums behind her became too much for her traumatised brain and nervous system.

Still wanting to continue with music, she attended the Country Music Academy 2020 course and became a solo artist.

In between songwriting, Amanda runs her own 40 acre property while also touring to outback festivals and gigging in local venues.
