Ben Walker – Dead End Road

Following the success of “Railway Train”, Sydney based Singer Songwriter Ben Walker, opens the door a little further on his new album “A Place I Like To Go To” delivering the beautifully structured, poignant and thought provoking “Dead End Road”.

Talking about the song, Ben says: “I read an article a while ago about a father in the US who’d sent his daughter off to school and she’d never made it home, because someone with a gun visited the school that day.

He talked about the fact his life would never be normal and he’d never be “home”.

The article hit really hard – and I wrote this song partly out of respect for that man’s strength, but also, with everything going on in the world at present, the message is broader than just the US gun debate – recognising the human spirit and what is really important in life”.
