Ben Walker – Time Machine

Singer Songwriter Ben Walker completes a stellar year with the release of the catchy, thought provoking, social commentary “Time Machine” from his recently released album “A Place I Like To Go To”.

Teaming up with good friend Allan Caswell, this Country Folk single weaves humour into a stark message. As Ben says:
“It turns out, if you put me and Allan at my kitchen table, with a couple of cans of Guinness, and set us off talking about the state of the world – you end up with “Time Machine”! I’d seen a news segment the night before about a father whose family was about to be evicted because he couldn’t pay the rent.

As a Dad myself, I like to stay positive about the future but that interview was still in my head when Allan arrived. Time Machine is one part my perspective thinking about my boys, one part Allan’s take, and a sprinkle of tongue in cheek humour. Played live it always lands so well.”.

Vocals: Ben Walker; Backing Vocals: Emma Gekas; Drums: Dan Berry; Bass Guitar: Callum
Edwards; Guitar: Thomas Keating.
Produced, Mixed and Mastered – Thomas Keating, Sing Sing Studios, Melbourne
