Ben Walker Ghosts and Heroes

What happens when you put two songwriters in a room and one brings along the phrase “Ghosts and Heroes”.  The answer lies in this beautifully crafted country track, a co-writing collaboration between Ben Walker & Kelly Cork, beautifully produced at Tracking Dog Studios by the highly experienced Rod Motbey.

“We’re here for a short time” Ben says “but many people make a real difference and that impact can last long after they are gone. That’s the idea we are riffing with in the song. When I first played the song in public it was only a week or so after we’d lost Mark Henry, a great character in the Country Music community and the best friend of my Manager Cameron – I dedicated the song to him, but it will mean something a little different to everyone who hears it. Folks go, they don’t get forgotten.”
