Terry Bennetts – The Old Man at the Bar
My latest album ‘A Fortunate Life’ was released in June 2020 and ‘The Old Man at the Bar’ is my latest single from the Album following on from the successful ‘Welcome to Australia’ (12 weeks in the charts reaching #2) and A Fortunate Life releases.
This is the first song that I have written with Ray Essery and is the story of an old farmer down on his luck forced to make a crust singing and playing in a rowdy bar. Ray is an excellent Bush Poet and storyteller and it was an honour to write this song with him.
