Sandy Louise – Give Me A JD

After attending the Tamworth Country Music Festival and hearing from so many talented writers a variety of drinking songs I was inspired to write my own during a covid lockdown in 2020 which had all the pubs and clubs closed.

I thought about my favourite drink, my favourite watering hole and the fun memories that went along with a sweet night out with mates and started writing Give me a JD.

I called on my friend and local singer songwriter David Javier to support finishing the song and it has been recorded and produced by Bill Chambers who features on the track musically and vocally.

It’s a great fun song to enjoy with your favourite drink in hand and the ones you love making memories with.
