Lloyd Back – How Much More

Lloyd Back was born in Hughenden, in western Queensland, and has spent all his life in rural Queensland. He grew up on a farm on the Darling Downs, which gave him an understanding of the many hardships faced by people on the land, and their rural communities.

‘How Much More’ is a song Lloyd wrote to acknowledge and honour all those who continue to live and work on the land, overcoming the constant challenges and setbacks of drought, fire and flood.

To date Lloyd has six recordings, with his last three albums all winning awards.
Some recent career highlights include;
• ‘Strong Love’ – a 2021Traditional Country Music Awards of Australia Top 10 Album of the Year
• ‘Everyone Has a Story’ – a 2020 Traditional Country Music Awards of Australia Top 10 Album of the Year
• ‘Travelling With You’ – awarded the ‘Real Country CD of the Year 2018″ by the Rural Roots Commission USA.
• Australian Gold Medallion Media Award for Male Vocalist of the Year and National Male Artist of the Year 2019
