The Ten Ton Tinnies – Country Bars

This song was written during Lockdown in 2021 and was a collaborative effort from the band.

Steve Thompson came up with the original Idea and we put it together over the course of a few weeks, continually developing it until we were happy.

Lyrically it’s a fairly simple song that has a bit of a feel-good vibe, all the usual themes are touched on – drinking, good times, country life etc and it’s really just a song that we were aiming for a big sing-along chorus and that was fun to dance to.

We recorded it at a home studio in Brisbane and some parts were recorded in Puckapunyal Victoria.

The song was mixed by DW Norton at Black Mountain sound studio’s on the sunshine coast and Mastered By Sam Striker in Austin Texas.

The Film Clip was filmed on location at Black Mountain Sound Studios, There was a torrential downpour that day just as the big floods were hitting so we just got amongst it and got dirty and wet!
