Gary Lowe Blood To Bone – Little Bell (A True Story)

Gary Lowe, a country artist from Western Australia, wrote and performed this story, as told over the years many times by his dad.

The story is about my old man, his family and a feisty pony named Little Bell.
When he was young, the whole family made their way from New South Wales down to Victoria.

Little Bell was my dad’s pony, he rode her all the way to Victoria on their journey to start their new life.
‘Riding thirty miles a day they were so worn out, with aching bones and bleeding hands,
But Little Bell just kept on going, she was in her prime’.
