TC Cassidy – She Woulda Loved It

Hot on the heels of a highly successful return to the Australian country music scene in close to 30 years – where she picked up a 2023 Golden Guitar nomination for Traditional Country Album of The Year – TC Cassidy releases the poignant fourth single from the release, “She Woulda Loved It”.

TC says, when she was recording the album, she deliberately left this song to the very last to record vocals on.

“This is by far is the song on the album closest to my heart, however, the hardest one to sing”, says TC.

“It’s all about my mum who we lost, and we literally buried her one week before my wedding day so that was quite tough”.

“It focuses on the Wedding Day itself which was a very bitter sweet day for us all. It’s titled She Woulda Loved It because she absolutely would have and it talks about what she would have said and how she would’ve acted. I know Mum wasn’t there in body on the day but she was certainly there in spirit. I remember hoping and praying that there would be a sign during the day and right as we were signing the register a kookaburra came and sat at the table, so I felt she was definitely there”.

Beautifully penned and produced by Golden Guitar winner and ARIA Award nominee, Angus Gill, “She Woulda Loved It”, again shows just why TC Cassidy’s long awaited return is a source of great excitement.
