Coad Sisters – Murray River Lullaby

Originally from northern South Australia, Coad Sisters (Virginia & Lynette) have released many albums over their full-time career in music.

From traditional bush ballads, country ballads, to contemporary styles their music includes much of their own writing.

The ‘Murray River Lullaby’, is an easy listening traditional country ballad written by Virginia.

“I have spent time on the Murray River over the years as my husband’s family has a shack near Morgan, South Australia…, in fact, the single’s cover photo of the river is one I took whilst at their shack,” Virginia said.

“The Murray River is one of Australia’s great tourist attractions and an integral part of lifestyle to those who live along her banks.”
