Connie Kis Andersen – Hurt

In line with, and to support her current East coast tour and appearances, Connie Kis Andersen has decided to release a stellar original, new single called; HURT, from a forthcoming body of works she is currently writing, titled Reflections.

While the track name may sound familiar, the song bears no resemblance to the Johnny Cash hit, in fact it has the makings of becoming its own classic.  

Recorded in Nashville just prior to the pandemic and during a period of great personal turmoil, Connie Kis penned the track, recognizing that sometimes ‘closure’ also includes locking the door to toxic relationships.  

The lyrics speak for themselves and will no doubt, resonate with many.  

With six albums, one E.P. and several hit songs to her credit – both in Australia and the US, Connie Kis Andersen’s alternate country/folk/roots style is laced in traditional delivery and has found her the recipient of multiple awards in Australia for song writing and as an artist.
