Brother Hollow – Neon Lights

Neon Lights is the debut single from country band Brother Hollow. Harbouring the spirit of Southern USA, the song pays homage to those nights on the town; meeting a girl, drinking beer and dancing under neon lights. The second verse makes up the heart of the song’s story – a musician meets the girl of his dreams while performing, losing his heart there.  Sweeping slide guitar, rough vocals and real drum tracks recorded in studio pay tribute to the vintage sound of early country records, while keyboards, percussion and FX provide a modern twist. The recording and production process thoughtfully produced a ‘live’ sound to distance the record from the oversaturated market of samples and autotune. The band is excited to get this song out into the wild!

Combining classic country roots with a modern twist – inspired by the likes of Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs – Brother Hollow presents a new sound that pairs vintage charm with a modern flair. This unique blend next to heartfelt lyrics and a rough, earthy recording style sets the band apart from the styles dominating current radio.
Founded in 2020, the band has since been through the paces, performing at Tamworth Country Music Festival, the Deni Ute Muster and all around the country as a touring act. Their energetic live show and powerful original music produce a musical powerhouse unlike any other band currently gracing Australian stages.
