Kevin Sullivan – Journey

Kevin Sullivan’s latest single, “Journey” is a window looking through the mind of someone who had a dream, a musical dream. People all my life told me I should just give it a go, to become a full-time musician”.  On weekends and holidays, Kevin toured and played music all over Australia, even headlining the Birdsville Races back in 2013.  He did this for over eighteen years whilst leading an interesting life as a former Forensic Crime Scene Investigator and Bomb technician, however, like the song lyrics for “Journey” say, “..music was churning and burning inside, deep in my soul, I know it’s time for a change.

“Journey” is the answer to Kevin’s prayers, fulfilling a lifelong ambition to become what many people have always encouraged him to be, a singer/songwriter and professional musician. Journey is the number one song on Kevin Sullivan’s second original album, due for release on Friday 28th June 2024.

Journey” was co-written with Peter Santella, a musician from South Australia that Kevin connected with at the Mildura Country Music Festival back in 2019. Peter, also a Police Officer and part time musician, came to one of Kevin’s shows and they chatted and the rest is history.
