Craig Lamond – Street names & board games

The words of the title track of Craig’s new album ‘Street Names and Board Games’ came to him when he was travelling to Miriam Vale in central Queensland on his way to pour another slab.

This song gives you a real insight into the travels of this concreter from his days growing up in the 80’s and 90’s. Craig and his brothers made quite a few moves up and down the east coast and this song serves as a nice metaphor for all of the twist and turns that life delivers.

Street Names and Board Games is the follow up album to Craig’s debut record ‘One on the up.’ The new collection of songs reflect not only his personal stories but those of people Craig has come to know.
