Tim Withano – Bob Dylan and Me

Tim is a Finnish-born, Australian singer/songwriter and guitarist. His actual name is Timo and as long as he can remember he has had to tell everyone he meets that his name is Tim with an “o”. When it came to launching his solo project (he has played in bands for years) he decided that Tim Withano would be an appropriate stage name :). Tim is an award winning artist and has had Top 10 success on the country charts in Australia. His debut single as a solo artist, “Bob Dylan and Me” came directly from an incredibly vivid dream where he was on a roadtrip with Bob Dylan. Tim explains, “We were just having a great conversation, enjoying the scenery and Bob was coming up with all these great lines. In the dream I asked him if I could use them in a song. He said it was fine so I consider that a viable legal agreement :)”.
Tim is very much a do-it-yourself guy. He plays guitars that he actually builds himself and records all of his songs in his home studio. Because of the lockdown in Sydney, Tim was also able to spend time creating the video for the song.
