Jean Darnell & Shaza Leigh – Amazing Grace Medley
These two gifted country ladies were both raised on farms, Jean in Nhill, country Victoria and Shaza in The Whitsundays, Nth Qld and both travel their own path, guided by their respective spiritual beliefs.
They met many years ago via Triple h FM in Horsham, Jean Darnell as a prominent radio presenter and avid supporter of Australian country music and Shaza Leigh, Australia’s First Lady Of Song, a national touring artist.
In 2019, they joined forces to write and record an EP, featuring their self penned National Award winning ‘Gospel Song of the Year’ – ‘Part Of Our Fathers Plan’.
During the recording process it became evident to all involved, that Jean was outstanding at delivering a monologue performance, not surprising, considering her calling as an Accredited Lay Preacher.
Shaza’s voice has always been especially smooth, yet powerful, when delivering spiritual songs and the artistic union, of these two friends, is more than just a performance, it is always a divine musical experience.
