Anne Fraser – Those Fraser Boys
In 1931, in a South Australian town called Wilmington, Mervyn Fraser was born. He was my Father, a boy raised in the beautiful Flinders Ranges amongst the tall ghost gums and lavender hills.
He was a hardworking man who shared the passion and love of the land with his Brothers and Sisters, Mother and Father.
The stories that have been told to me by my Father and his family are both beautiful and hilarious, a mixture of hard times and a determination to find the best in a bad situation.
There was loss and laughter, gain and pain…the memories will never die.
