Own it is a song about that quintessential quality in any person’s life to be willing to accept responsibility for their choices. Women in their power have no fear of accountability and with that we claim our individual freedom to be wholly and unrelentingly in ownership of ourselves.

It’s an anthem about being proud and happy with who you are, where you are in your life and about accepting all your past and future decisions and choices.  The paths that you followed led you to the person and place that you are right in this moment so acknowledge it, warts, and all.

Artists Dawn Moore and Brian Heywood are based on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Their music combines the storytelling of traditional country with an edgy roots rock feel.
