It is the love of his country that one has to admire about Michael.
His poetry and songs are wonderfully Australian and cover the country’s splendor and grandeur, it’s ANZACS and Diggers, and of our celebrities who died young and tragically, or Steve Irwin, Belinda Emmett..

Michael started writing poetry the night Steve Irwin passed away. 4/9/2006.
Since then he has written some 3000 poems.

Being an ex soldier, it felt right to try capture such an iconic Australian game in song.

Written at Salisbury RSL on ANZAC DAY 2020.

This is a song written about the game ‘Two Up’.
