Kelly Cork – Talk To The Rain
In May 2019 we all felt the massive impact when we heard that Glen Hannah had reached up for the higher sky’s. Glen was knee deep in everything that was music (Including my recording of ‘Where I’m Going’). His new project Teisco West was well on the way and K B & The Flood’s Blood Red Ties was up and running too.
At Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2020, the Tamworth Hotel was the place to be for the magic release of this work but every time a new song would kick into gear the heavens would explode above us and absolutely bucket down. It stopped us in our tracks. I felt it was Glen’s way of saying, ‘You’re not going on without me.’ that’s where we came up with Talk To The Rain.
