Jeff Aschmann – Where Were You In 2020
“Where Were You In 2020” is a song written and recorded by singer/songwriter Jeff Aschmann. The song is about the bushfires that ravaged Southeast Australia New Years Eve, New Years Day and throughout January 2020.
Jeff was evacuated four times from his home up the Deua Valley outside Moruya New South Wales. His house was saved, but not so lucky many others. All South Coast residents and tourists will always remember the fires of 2020.
As well, we will all be held accountable to future generations and we must answer the questions why this happened and better plan for the future in the short and long term.
