Shaza Leigh – Why I Love December

Shaza Leigh OWB is one of Australia’s most prophetic and prolific, professional songwriters. She unashamedly pays homage to her innate ability to channel works of guidance and love for humanity and considers her musical talents to be simply a gift likened to any other humanly gifts. She has a deep seated awareness of self, purpose and service to mankind on behalf of the divine.
Christmas has always been considered one of the most special celebrations on her annual calendar. It has always been a time for the most important people in Shaza’s world, her immediate family. A time to totally break from all touring and business commitments, a time to share love and laughter with her nearest and dearest and a time to remember what is truly important in this realm.
Each year Shaza writes an original Christmas song, specifically for the Gethsemane Christmas Carols Annual TV presentation, hosted by long time friend and fellow Pastor, Kerrigan La-Brooy. She treasures her inclusion in this world wide presentation and once again, this years single is being launched to international radio prior to the appearance on the TV special.
“Why I Love December” is a beautifully crafted song produced and arranged by Shaza, “2023 International Female Producer of the Year” at LBS Studio2 on their Tamworth property, Butler Estate. The track also features guitar legend, husband Lindsay Butler OAM and business partner, friend, Queen of the Country Piano, Peggy Gilchrist.
