Bobby Valentine – Looking For Love In The Wrong Places

This song is a true life story of a girl I used to know. She was a good friend and we had a dalliance as I recall. I wrote it many years ago.

She was unlucky in love and my lyric is an observation of why.

It didn’t make the cut on my first album, “Writing my Book Again”, but my Band gave it new life and insisted on recording it.

I played the song once solo. A table of girls were out celebrating one of the girl’s recent divorce. By the end of the first Chorus they were all pointing at her singing “You’re looking for love in all the wrong places” So I guess the message resonates!
