Peter Reeves – The Worst 10 Minutes

Following hot on the heels of debut single, ‘Beer O’Clock’, which reached 31 on the Australian Country Top 40 charts and over 8000 streams in 4 weeks on Spotify, is the new single, ‘The Worst 10 Minutes’, a hilarious take on giving up the booze for no more than 10 minutes which would seem an appropriate follow up to ‘Beer O’Clock’.

‘The Worst 10 Minutes’ is an up-tempo toe tapping jaunt that features the impeccable pedal steel guitar by none other than Dave Moore and shimmery electric guitar by Nashville session player, Rick Plant. ‘The Worst 10 Minutes’ also features on Peter’s long-awaited full length album, ‘Beer O’Clock’, the follow up to his cracking debut EP, ‘Working Man’, which is due out in September 2024 and will be available digitally and on CD.

Growing up in the regional town of Newbridge, on the Loddon River in Victoria, Peter has done the hard yards working the land and touring the regional beer barns and taverns. To quote a line from his ripping tune, ‘Working Man’: “swelt in the heat, drown in the rain, paid my dues, time and time again”. ‘The Worst 10 Minutes’ was released on Small Sanctuary Records and is bristling with fun, irreverent Aussie humour and an edginess that is refreshing.
