Phil Doublet – Kill Devil Road

The tune Kill Devil Road came about on a tour around the top end of the South Island of NZ around the Takaka hills where there is a place called ‘Kill Devil Track’ which is a hiking trail.

At the time I thought to myself ‘cool song title’ with one small change, and decided to compose a fast country/western style Instrumental that hopefully invites the listener in on horseback down an old dirt trail.

With myself on all instruments and guest Nick Jones on the fiddle I put this wee number together.
