The Woodpickers are a recording project of Blue Mountains resident John Murphy.
For more than 20 years The Woodpickers have continued to release alternate country music
featuring many varied Australian performers.
This song, A Place Called Home, is a historical observation of migration to Australia.
In increasingly troubled times we all are very fortunate to live in this wonderful country.
Vocals are by Allan Caswell who came to Australia from the UK with his family over 50 years ago.
