John Leslie Hulcombe – Town of Love
Although John has been writing and recording for several years, “Town of Love” is his first release.
The song is a story of love, friendship and a home coming. It was inspired by his association with Eumundi a hinterland town on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast famous for its markets. However, the song could easily relate to any number of Towns across Australia.
John gain valuable experience back in the late eighties working on several original tracks with John Rix, then president of the Queensland Recording association.
Recently he has been recording at Glasshouse Recording Studios with Angus Woodhead.
“Town of Love” is currently shortlisted for an Australian Songwriters Association award.
The track also features Laura Mitchell on vocals.
