SHAZA LEIGH – CUTTING GEMS OUT OF STONE
Shaza has just secured her third NATIONAL SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR title at the 2021 CCMA National Songwriter Awards. The winning song, CUTTING GEMS OUT OF STONE, a tribute to the teaching profession, topped a strong field of work from many of Australia’s best writers.
Shaza Leigh excitedly rides her current wave of success after receiving THE ORDER OF THE WATTLE BLOSSOM at The Native Australian Awards last year, one of Australia’s highest honours for achievement in the recipients chosen field – Citation: ‘For excellence in the writing and performance of music reflecting Australia’s unique cultural heritage, and love for our Native Land’.
Most importantly Shaza is an extraordinarily talented artist and leader in the Australian Music Industry, openly sharing her gifts mentoring other talent and continuously standing tall amongst the masses!
