Jacynta’lee – Dream

Jacynta’lee, a 28 year old singer/songwriter from Far North Queensland, has taken on the world stage with the release of her debut single and feel good anthem, Dream.

Jacynta’lee triples as the composer, lyricist and performer of the track. Summed up, Dream fits perfectly into the modern country genre and touches on the country pop/country rock class. The single has a ‘feel good’ melody, giving off a free and happy, ‘open road’ vibe.

Lyrically, Dream was written to actively encourage people at any age to hold onto hope; to keep your most passion fuelled dreams alive – no matter which way society or scheduled social ‘ideals’ might try and sway you. Particularly in the personal curving decade of your 20’s, but also very much in all decades of our lives, Dream can stand as an anthem. Jacynta quotes ‘I understand perceived social norms and expectations never really go away –  though as we grow older, age provides better perspectives.’
