Jeff Aschmann – This Is Aboriginal Country
This is Aboriginal Country” is a 10 song CD of original songs by Jeff Aschmann. The songs reflect Jeff’s lengthy observations within remote aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory, Australia while working as a school teacher for the Northern Territory Department of Education. The songs depict the people living in remote areas in Australia such as the Tanami Desert, Arnhem Land, the Western Deserts and that of Southern New South Wales.
The CD was made to facilitate Aboriginal Education, which is Australia’s education, sadly much on the aboriginal side has been omitted. Two songs on the CD, “Dreamtime Christmas” and “Eurobodalla” are currently available as education resources around Australia.
