Jarrad Wrigley – Further To The Land
“Further To The Land” is a story of feeling like you’re always somewhere in between, never really feeling at home.
After releasing “Rain On The Roof” back in February, I needed to write a song to get things off my chest. A song to help me navigate through that lost feeling.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so when I saw a photograph of my great grandfather holding me as a baby I knew that’s all I needed to write a story.
After writing the song in its original form, I took it to Allan Caswell, who helped me polish a good idea into a great story.
A story about where my family comes from, what it means to me and why I am the way that I am.
