Steve McNaughton – Journeyman
More than seven years after his Nashville award winning album, Eagles Aloft, STEVE McNAUGHTON now releases his fourth album Journeyman.
The title track and first single to be released, tells the story of a simple country guy who has earned his living the hard way, over many years on the road. He has been through both good and bad times but has stuck it out, as that is all he knows.
With Steve having worked through so many different jobs and projects, and played with so many bands and musos over the years, the song has a strong personal connection with the artist.
Journeyman, co-written with long time collaborator JAMES STEWART KEENE, features great instrumentation and production from ROD MOTBEY, whose rolling banjo and guitar parts motor the song, whilst giving it a nice bluegrass feel.
