Watling & Bates – Alice

Happy-go-lucky and well-intentioned, Alice doesn’t always make the best choices. Alice’s truck-driving friend cares deeply from a distance with the hope that they will find each other again.
They move on parallel highways, never sure where their travels will lead, or if their paths may cross.

Alice features Geoffrey Bates on vocals, with special guest Thor Phillips on guitars, keyboards, and bass. Kym Watling plays harmonica and sings backup. Marcus Schintler completes the work on drums.  

Vocals were recorded by Geoffrey Bates at Unumgar Studios, Unumgar NSW. Guitars, bass, and keyboards were tracked by Thor Phillips at Ridgeline Studio, Horse Station Creek NSW. Drums were recorded by Thor Phillips at Comrade Rock Studio, Kyogle, NSW.

Final mix and engineering by Scott French of Lovestreet Studios, Currumbin Qld, with mastering by Paul Blakey of 12th & Vine Post, Broadbeach, Qld.
